Enter President's Choice Blue Menu and my newest discovery; Bulgar and Quinoa with Chickpeas. a Moroccan style dish with carrots, peppers and eggplant to boot!
With 5g of fibre, 7g of protein and only 200cal per serving this has become a freezer staple for me, especially because it's ready in 9 minutes and it's vegetarian friendly!
Add a Licks Nature burger with all the fixin's and dinner is ready in 10 minutes! You can beat that on a lazy, I don't want to cook kinda night
I'm off to relax and put together a training plan for the 1/2 marathon in a few months. Have a great night everyone!!
So tell me, what's your go-to when you don't feel like cooking?
Mine is rather embarrassing to admit, its so simple. Cut up raw veggies and fruit with crackers and sliced deli turkey. Yes, sometimes I eat like a five year old!
ReplyDeleteWhat! I've never seen that when I've been grocery shopping, perhaps it's new? Or maybe the No Frills near me just doesn't carry it. The location near me doesn't even have Nature burgers, only the regular home burgers. I'm definitely going to keep an eye open for this though on my next trip.
ReplyDeleteMy go meals are really boring, I tend to just make beans and rice. I've been lacking creativity in the kitchen lately, I need to make more of an effort to try new recipes!
I need to find this! This looks delish and sounds so simple! My go to meals always seem to not be so healthy!
ReplyDeleteInteresting...I'll have to be on the lookout for that. Our go-to quickie dinner is breakfast. Yup, we have breakfast for dinner at least once a week :P Omelettes are quick and easy and after i load 'em up with veggies they are fab!!
ReplyDeleteSad to say, but I tend to lean towards having a "breakfast-dinner" when I don't feel like cooking =P I'll have stuff like toast and cereal and a bunch of fruit like an apple, banana, and particularly this time of year, watermelon.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your 1/2 marathon training plan!
My apartment kitchen is awful so I rarely feel like cooking. I tend to order pizza, Pad Thai, or sushi at least once a week. Whatever works!
ReplyDeleteYour meal looks awesome!
This is so colorful! I'm in a cooking slump right now because it is so hot in the house. I love to do take out sushi on nights where it is brutally hot.
ReplyDeleteLooks YUMMY!!!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHow have I never seen this product before? It looks awesome. President's Choice can do no wrong!
